drg. Ika Dewi Ana, M.Kes., Ph.D.
She is Vice-Rector for Research and Community Service at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). She has done various research and published in indexed international journals. Her achievements are not only that, she has received many awards both national and international levels such as Inovator Anak Bangsa (20 best Innovator award 2015) and Anugerah Kekayaan Intelektual Luar Biasa patent category in 2014 by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education Technology. She also nominated as The Most Outstanding Research from Asian Bio-ceramics Society and Bio-ceramics Excellence Award for the Contribution in the Field of Bio-ceramics from International Society for Ceramics in Medicine.
Drg. Ika Dewi Ana, M.Kes., Ph.D has four patens. One of the results of her research have been used by oral and maxillofacial surgeons, implant expert and dentist throughout Indonesia. This product has been included in e-Catalog list so it can be used by BPJS patients (National Health care Insurance of Indonesia). She is active in carrying out social service activities and community service related to oral health, disaster mitigation and education as well as community empowerment in Yogyakarta and outside Java islands.
Professor Judy McKimm
She is Director of Strategic Educational Development and Professor of Medical Education in The Collage of Medicine, Swansea University. Professor Judy McKimm has worked on over sixty international health workforce, policy development and education reform projects for DfID, AusAID, the World Bank and WHO in Central Asia, Portugal, Greece, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Australia, China and the Pacific. Her last major international project was developing a Human Resources for Health strategy and recommendations for the Pacific region.
She is an active member of international medical education associations and activities including AoME, ANZAHPE, APMEC and AMEE, was a member of the Association for the Study of Medical Education (ASME) and the Academy of Medical Educators (AoME) Boards and is an active Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM) regional and educational activity lead. She is Director of ASME’s international Educational Leadership programme and of the AMEE ESMELead programme, writes and publishes widely on medical education, faculty development and leadership (including the ABC of Clinical Leadership, with Tim Swanwick) and runs clinical leadership and educational development workshops nationally and internationally.
Since 2004 she has seven awards from Higher Education Academy (HEA), Academy of Medical Educators (AoME) Inagural Fellow, BMA Award for Healthcare Education Publication of The Year, ASME Silver Quill Award (awarded for most downloaded article from Clinical Teacher), Health Service Journal (HSJ) Top 100 Clinical Leaders Award, Association for Medical Education in Europe) fellow and Association for The Study of Medical Education (ASME) President’s Medal.

Prof dr. Ova Emilia, M.Med.Ed., Sp.OG(K)., Ph.D.
Prof Ova is the Dean of the Faculty of Meidicne, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada since 2016. From 2012 to 2016, she was selected as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, and Alumni. She is the chief editor of the Journal of Indonesian Health Professional Education. She is also a lecturer in obstetrics and gynecology; promotion of maternal and child health; master program in medical education; PhD program and specialist consultant for social obstetrics and gynecology programs. Professor Ova is the module development and trainer for the Faculty of Medicine in Indonesia on family planning training.
She has many honors and awards, one of them is the Certificate of Honour Satyalancana Karya Satya XX in 2019. Professor Ova has published many articles, books, and modules on health promotion and communication approaches. She is active in providing community services, last year she conducted a social service to remove the IUD implant connector.
Professor Gandes Retno Rahayu, MD, MMedEd, PhD
Prof. Gandes currently serves as the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Faculty of Medicine in Indonesia. Before her appointment as Vice Dean, she was Head of the Department of Medical Education and Director of the Master Program in Medical Education. From 2010 until 2016, she was selected to serve as an executive committee member for the LINQED international educational network, based in Belgium. She is also an ambassador for the Indonesian region for the Association of Medical Education in Europe (AMEE).
Prof. Gandes began her career in Medical Education as a lecturer and went on to become the head of the Committee of Student Assessment at the UGM Faculty of Medicine. She is also concern in the field of interprofessional education (IPE). Prof. Gandes has published many articles related to interprofessional education. In 2018 she conducted research at various universities in Yogyakarta and surroundings regarding evaluation of the implementation of interprofessional education (IPE) in Medical Education Institutions in Joglosemar region.
Professor Ir. Irfan Dwidya Prijambada, M.Eng., Ph.D
He is Director of the Directorate of Community Service at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). His area of expertise is soil and environmental biotechnology. Professor Ir. Irfan Dwidya Prijambada, M.Eng., PhD not only teaches in UGM but he also been a visiting Professor and become a guest lecturer at various universities in Thailand, Taiwan and Japan. Since 2016 he has become a collaborating Professor at a university in Japan.
Until now, he has done a lot of research both at the national and international levels, as well as his research publication that has been published in reputable journals. His work in community service is proven by a lot of activities such as a member of the Universitas Gadjah Mada team for the mitigation project soil polluted with oil sludge in East Kalimantan, an expert on the mapping project of oil-contaminated soil for the “Minas Soil Mitigation Project” in Riau, lecturer at in house training for biological optimization of wastewater treatment industry in Riau, consultation team members for the production of biological fertilizers at the fertilizer companies in several provinces of Indonesia.
Agus Setiawan, S.Kp., MN., DN.
He is the Dean of Nursing Faculty at Universitas Indonesia (UI). Agus Setiawan, S.Kp., MN., DN is a community health nurse with a specialization in community-based intervention, child health, access to health care, human resource for health and health inequalities. Being both an academician and public health practitioner, he has mixed experience of generating evidence and translating it into programs and policies.
He is actively involved in several associations in the field of nursing such as Association of Indonesian Nursing Education Center (AINEC), Association of Indonesian Community Health Nurses (AICHN), Southeast and East Asian Nursing Education and Research Network (SEANERN), Asia Pacific Alliance of Nursing Education (APANE) and Task Force ASEAN Joint Coordinating Committee on Nursing (AJCCN). He also has received many research grants and has published articles in both national and international journals.
