Clinical Decision Making

Background

Decision in health care can be particularly challenging, because it is involving a complex process of diagnostic and therapeutic logic, patient’s preferences and values and costs.

Based on this information the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) method was developed. This method is used to assess the quality of systematic reviews. GRADE is a system for assessing the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendations that are explicit, comprehensive, transparent and pragmatic.

The GRADE training is expected to provide knowledge for researchers, lecturers,  and clinicians in assessing the quality of systematic reviews as literature. This is very important if clinical decisions made will be more rational, effective and efficient, and benefit clinicians and patients.

Objectives
